Katie is an internationally produced playwright, whose work has been seen Off-Broadway, across the US and in Morocco. Her debut play, www.SelfStory.com, won the International Thespian Festival's Playworks competition, and Young Playwright Inc's Write-A-Play contest. Katie's other full-length plays include Foreign Exchange, Innov, and In-Brain, all of which have enjoyed runs in Kansas City, Chicago, and across the midwest. Katie served as a playwright for the American Theatre Company's BRIDGE program, collaborating with high school students on Chicago's South Side to create original plays based on their cultural identity and experiences.​
